Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all donations made through www.gravineproject.com (the “Website”), operated by the owners and associates of The Gravine Project (“The Gravine Project,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By making a donation to The Gravine Project, you (“you,” “your,” “Donor”) agree to the terms of this policy.

1. No Refunds on Donations

All donations made to The Gravine Project are non-refundable. Donations are considered voluntary and final once processed, and no refunds will be issued for any reason, except as expressly provided in Section 2 below.

2. Exception: Proven Cases of Fraud or Identity Theft

2.1. Refunds will only be considered if there is conclusive legal evidence that the donation was the result of identity theft or unauthorized use of financial information.

2.2. To request a refund under this exception, the Donor (or the alleged victim) must provide all of the following:

  • A formal police report documenting the identity theft or fraud.

  • Written confirmation from the affected financial institution verifying the fraudulent transaction and confirming that the plaintiff is the legitimate victim.

  • Sufficient legal documentation proving the unauthorized use of financial credentials (e.g., affidavits, court orders, or investigative findings).

  • Financial statements showing the unauthorized charge(s) and supporting evidence from the financial institution’s fraud investigation team.

2.3. The Gravine Project reserves the right to independently verify any claim of fraud or identity theft with law enforcement agencies and financial institutions before issuing any refund.

3. Timeframe for Requests

Requests for refunds under Section 2 must be submitted within 60 calendar days from the date of the donation. Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.

4. Process for Submitting a Refund Request

To request a refund, the Donor must send all required documentation to:

The request must include:

  • Full name and contact information of the alleged victim.

  • Date and amount of the donation(s).

  • All required supporting documentation as outlined in Section 2.2.

5. Review and Determination

5.1. Upon receipt of a complete refund request, The Gravine Project will review the documentation and conduct its own assessment in good faith.

5.2. The Gravine Project’s decision to approve or deny a refund request is final and binding.

5.3. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the donation within 60 calendar days of approval.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, for any disputes arising from or related to this policy.

7. Global Applicability

This policy applies to all Users and Donors worldwide, regardless of their country of residence.
